On Thursday, April 17, former Mechanicsville High School standout Aaron Maxie’s current college team, the Christopher Newport Captains, won 12-10 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Marymount Saints.

The game took place at Captains Park. This was their second matchup against the Saints this season.

The Captains’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 19 at 2 p.m. at Captains Park against Mary Washington Eagles.
