On Wednesday, April 16, former Powhatan High School standout Carsen Hogston’s current college team, the Ferrum Panthers, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Averett Cougars.

The game took place at Cougar Field. This was their second matchup against the Cougars this season.

The Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 22 at 4 p.m. at Vickie Van Kleeck Softball Complex against Lynchburg Hornets.
