Reported prices for regular gas in Hanover County averaged $2.91 per gallon.
Of the 60 reported gas stations in cities within Hanover County, 54 offered regular gas.
Across Virginia, the average reported price for a gallon of regular gas rose to $2.82, compared to the week before.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
