On Wednesday, April 9, former Mechanicsville High School standouts Dylan Robbins and Gavin Smith’s current college team, the Hampden-Sydney Tigers, lost 15-3 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Lynchburg Hornets.

The game took place at James C. Fox Field. This was their second matchup against the Hornets this season.

The Tigers’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, April 10 at 3 p.m. at Ty Cobb Ballpark – Wurdeman Stadium against Mary Baldwin Fighting Squirrels.
