In a tweet at 22:20 UTC, Henrico County Government congratulated the Mavericks, including Coach Steven Gromling and team members Zach Bender, Henry Brooks, Charlie Duerson, Jackson Holsten, Caleb Jun, Nicholas Kuriger, Teddy Martin, Cole Nelson, Caleb Stuhlmacher, Nathan Szobota, Tyler Rossi, Blaine Nelson, and William Beach for their accomplishments.

Henrico County Public Schools District enrolled 50,464 students during the 2023-24 school year. Deep Run High School had the highest enrollment among its 68 schools with 2,039 students. During this period Black students represented the largest ethnic group in Henrico County schools.
