Henrico County Government highlighted achievements from its local schools and teams in a series of social media posts on August 12, 2025.

In one post, the county shared a quote from Coach Steven Chapman: “Coach Steven Chapman noted that it takes an entire team to prevent so many goals. He also commended the team’s sportsmanship and its combined 4.14 grade point average.” (August 12, 2025). The tweet did not specify which team was being discussed but emphasized both athletic performance and academic excellence.

Another post included only a link without additional commentary: “https://t.co/QMfYcj6pBM” (August 12, 2025).

A third post recognized the accomplishments of Blue Cheese Robotics: “Among its many accomplishments, Blue Cheese Robotics earned an invitation to the FIRST World Championship in Houston & earned the Milstein Division Judges Award for Outstanding Advocacy and Community Outreach Initiatives.” (August 12, 2025).

Henrico County Public Schools District is the only school district in Henrico County and reported an enrollment of more than 50,000 students during the 2023-24 school year. Deep Run High School had the highest enrollment among Henrico’s 68 schools with over 2,000 students. Demographically, Black students made up about a third of total enrollment during that period, with white students representing just under one-third. Overall student numbers increased slightly compared to the previous year. Among elementary schools, Holladay Elementary had the largest pre-kindergarten population in the county.
