The Henrico County Government has recently communicated several important updates and opportunities to its residents through social media. These updates cover changes in mailing addresses for certain services, contact information for queries, and the last opportunity to participate in a local event aimed at shaping the future of the county.

On May 2, 2025, Henrico County Government informed residents that “some Henrico residents may have received or will receive a postcard from Richmond about mailing address changes for certain city utility and tax payments. For Henrico residents, these changes are applicable only to households that receive natural gas from Richmond Gas Works.

In a follow-up tweet posted moments later, residents were advised, “Residents with questions are encouraged to contact the Department of Finance at (804) 501-4729 or taxhelp@henrico.gov. More information is available at https://t.co/xmDl8oNyLJ.

Subsequently, on May 3, 2025, Henrico County Government highlighted an upcoming event: “Residents have 1 more chance to attend a Suggestion Session to help shape Henrico’s future: 5-7 pm Monday, May 5 at Highland Springs HS, 200 S. Airport Dr. Residents can provide input on maps showing possible land uses for sites in Henrico. More: https://t.co/iw6h46MCue.

To provide additional context, Henrico County Public Schools District is the only school district in Henrico County and had 50,464 students enrolled during the 2023-24 school year, with diverse enrollment across its schools.
