Henrico County Government has issued updates on key registration dates for a local camp and provided information about early voting opportunities ahead of the upcoming special election.

On April 17, 2026, Henrico County Government posted details regarding camp registration fees: “Key registration dates:
– By Wednesday, April 22: $420 (early rate)
– Starting Thursday, April 23: $450 (standard rate)
The camp cost includes meals and lodging for five days and four nights, programs, class materials and a camp T-shirt.”
This message highlights the deadline for discounted rates and what is included in the camp package.

Later that day, officials shared an update on early voting activity: “Henrico residents are lined up Friday at the Henrico Government Center to cast an early ballot in the upcoming special election. Henrico’s three early, in-person voting sites – also the Eastern Government Center & Varina Area Library – are open until 4:30pm today.” The tweet provides locations and hours for those seeking to vote before Election Day.

A subsequent post reminded residents of remaining early voting opportunities and Election Day details: “Saturday, April 18 – tomorrow – is the final day to vote early in-person. The three county sites will be open 9am-5pm.

Can’t make it early? Henrico’s 90 precincts will open for in-person voting 6am-7pm on Election Day, Tuesday, April 21.”
