Henrico County Government highlighted employment opportunities, community events, and public safety information in a series of posts on July 24, 2025.
In its first message, the county promoted job openings and its reputation as an employer. On July 24, Henrico County Government posted: “Level up your career by working for Henrico – one of the best employers in VA, according to @Forbes! The same day, the government shared information about local activities for residents. At 12:40 p.m., it posted: “Need something fun to do? Pizza & Professions: Teens will eat & learn about jobs in historic preservation. July 24, 28 & 29. Christmas in July! Free movies at Henrico Theatre. Later that evening at 7:48 p.m., Henrico County Government provided guidance on pool requirements and issued a recall notice: “For information on Henrico’s requirements for inground & aboveground pools, contact the Permit Center at 804-501-7280 or permitcenter@henrico.gov. Henrico County serves a diverse population through various public services including education and recreation. The county’s public school district enrolled more than 50,000 students during the 2023-24 academic year (source). Black students represented the largest ethnic group in local schools at nearly 36%, followed by white students at almost 32% (source). Deep Run High School had the highest enrollment among secondary schools with over two thousand students during that period (source).
