Henrico County Government recently highlighted achievements and announcements through a series of posts on its official X (formerly Twitter) account. The tweets covered the passing of Mr. Valentine, celebrated Deep Run High School’s girls soccer team’s state championship, and recognized the school board’s formal commendation.

Deep Run High School is noted as having had the highest enrollment among Henrico County’s schools during the 2023-24 academic year, with 2,039 students enrolled according to data from the Virginia Department of Education (source). Henrico County Public Schools District serves as the sole district for Henrico County and reported an overall enrollment of more than 50,000 students in that period (source). During this time, Black students represented approximately one-third of all students enrolled in county schools (source).
