Later that evening, an additional post recognized a recent loss in the community. At 22:06 UTC, Henrico County Government shared: “County Manager John Vithoulkas is noting the passing of Nelson Wikstrom, a longtime professor of political science and public administration at VCU. Dr. Wikstrom passed away last week at the age of 85.”
Henrico County serves a diverse population through its school system. During the 2023-24 school year, Henrico County Public Schools District enrolled over 50,000 students across its schools (source).
