Henrico County Government has recently shared several updates and insights through their official Twitter account. These tweets cover a range of topics, including local government meetings and perspectives from county employees.

On May 13, the Henrico County Government announced that “The May 13 meeting of the Board of Supervisors has concluded.” The post mentioned that an archived video of the meeting would be made available for public viewing.

The following day, on May 14, a tweet highlighted a quote from a land-use planner who expressed enthusiasm about her work: “As a land-use planner, I find it exciting and interesting to work on these challenges of like, how do we balance our community’s desires and aspirations?” she stated.

Additionally, on the same day, another tweet featured Neha Shinde’s positive remarks about working in Henrico. She emphasized her appreciation for the county’s efforts to address issues and improve customer service while valuing its diversity. According to Shinde, “there’s no better place to work than Henrico.”

In related news, Henrico County Public Schools District enrolled 50,464 students during the 2023-24 school year. Deep Run High School had the highest enrollment among the county’s schools with 2,039 students. Black students represented the largest ethnic group in Henrico County schools during this period.
