On Friday, April 18, former Mechanicsville High School standout Maddie Goad’s current college team, the Norfolk State Spartans, won 9-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Coppin State Eagles.

The game took place at NSU Softball Field. This was their first matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 3:45 p.m. at NSU Softball Field against Coppin State Eagles.
