On Sunday, April 13, former Powhatan High School standout Carsen Hogston’s current college team, the Ferrum Panthers, won 2-1 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Sweet Briar Vixens.

The game took place at Vickie Van Kleeck Softball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Vixens this season.

The Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Monday, April 14 at 2:30 p.m. at Tom and Betty Broyles Field at TowneBank Park against Virginia Wesleyan Marlins.
