On Thursday, April 10, former Mechanicsville High School standout Aaron Maxie’s current college team, the Christopher Newport Captains, lost 11-7 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Lynchburg Hornets.

The game took place at Captains Park. This was their first matchup against the Hornets this season.

The Captains’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 13 at 2 p.m. at Captains Park against Randolph-Macon Yellow Jackets.
