On Wednesday, April 30, former Mechanicsville High School standout Dallas Hairfield’s current college team, the Longwood Lancers, lost 10-9 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Elon Phoenix.

The game took place at Walter C. Latham Park. This was their first matchup against the Phoenix this season.

The Lancers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, May 2 at 6:30 p.m. at Cleveland S. Harley Baseball Park against USC Upstate Spartans.
