Richmond City Electoral Board schedules emergency public meeting for March 27

The Richmond City Electoral Board announced on Mar. 30 that it will hold an emergency public meeting on Friday, March 27, at 1:30 p.m. The meeting will take place at 2134 W. Laburnum Avenue in Richmond, Virginia.

The notice aims to inform the public about the upcoming board meeting and its procedures. The agenda for the session will be made available once it has been reviewed and approved by the Electoral Board.

According to the announcement, “the agenda is subject to change. Items may be added, removed, or modified prior to or during the meeting, as permitted by law.” The board also said that this meeting will be recorded and any additional updates related to logistics will be communicated as necessary.

Members of the public are invited to attend either in person or remotely. Remote participation can be accessed via a live online link or by phone using the provided dial-in number and access code.

A reminder included in the notice states that Logic and Accuracy (L&A) testing is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. at the Tech Warehouse before the emergency board meeting starts at 1:30 p.m. For further questions regarding this event, individuals are encouraged to email electoral.board@rva.gov.
