The City of Richmond will hold a virtual public meeting on August 19 at 6:00 p.m. to discuss upcoming utility work in the Forest Hill Avenue area. The meeting aims to provide more information and address questions about planned projects, which include replacing old water lines and deteriorated sewer laterals.

According to city officials, the water line replacement is scheduled for Hathaway Road from Riverside Drive/Longview Drive to the 2900 block of Hathaway Road. This work will begin on August 25 and is expected to last six months. Residents and business owners can hear directly from Department of Public Utilities (DPU) project managers during the meeting. They will present project scopes, review plans, and explain potential traffic impacts.
