To take advantage of this offer, participants must be registered with the program.

The initiative aims to promote eco-friendly commuting by encouraging residents to choose biking as an alternative mode of transportation. This effort provides a healthy option for commuting, running errands, or enjoying a scenic ride in Richmond.

RVA Bikeshare operates 20 self-service stations throughout Richmond and maintains a fleet of electric bikes. The service acts as an essential link for many residents, offering reliable transportation solutions for their commutes.

Managed by the Office of Equitable Transit and Mobility under the Department of Public Works (DPW), RVA Bikeshare offers various membership options available at rvabikes.com. More information about DPW services can be found at rva.gov/public-works.

The City of Richmond’s Department of Public Works is among only 195 accredited public works agencies in the United States.
