On Saturday, April 26, former Hanover High School standout Mason Williams’ current college team, the Averett Cougars, lost 13-1 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Eastern Mennonite Royals.

The game took place at Owen-Fulton Field. This was their second matchup against the Royals this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Friday, May 2 at 11 a.m. at Bridgewater Baseball Field against Bridgewater Eagles.
