On Saturday, April 26, former Mechanicsville High School standout Aaron Maxie’s current college team, the Christopher Newport Captains, lost 8-0 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Salisbury Sea Gulls.

The game took place at Donnie Williams Sea Gull Baseball Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Sea Gulls this season.

The Captains’ next game is scheduled for Monday, April 28 at 4 p.m. at Ty Cobb Ballpark – Wurdeman Stadium against Hampden-Sydney Tigers.
