Southside Electric Cooperative issued the following announcement on June 11.
At Southside Electric Cooperative, our commitment is to serve our members in the most effective and efficient ways possible. To accomplish this commitment, we will, when needed, contract out work in order to make us safer and better able to serve our member’s electrical needs.
Field technicians with Osmose Utilities Services, Inc. will be working across the system doing both normal Pole Inspections. Starting next week Osmose will be working on Wellville Substation and on Reams Transmission Line. They plan to finish up this work by the beginning to middle of August.
Osmose does not need to enter the home and can maintain their separation as per CDC guidelines while performing work outside. Proper signage can be seen on each of their vehicles.
