Goochland County Sheriff's Office issued the following announcement on July 28
We are a few short days away from National Night Out 2021! With such an outstanding turnout and feedback from National Night Out 2019, there was no doubt we wanted to continue this event once COVID restrictions lifted. As law enforcement, when responding to calls, we don’t always get to meet our citizens on their best days or under the most positive of circumstances.
This National Night Out event is one of many opportunities that Goochland County Sheriff’s Office enjoys having in the hopes of providing a positive engagement with our community. We have many community leaders, businesses, county resources, and first responders show their interest in attending and setting up informational booths for this event, all with the intent to bring our neighborhood together.
Goochland County already has a wonderful sense of community, but the endeavor to become closer, safer, and the most secure county in Virginia will never be on the back burner. We are very excited to see everyone on August 3rd at 6:00pm! Bring your families and your appetite!
