City of Goochland: COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic & Testing Opportunity in Goochland on Thursday, Sept. 30th

City of Goochland issued the following announcement on September 28.

The Chickahominy Health District will offer FREE COVID-19 testing and vaccines on Thursday, September 30th from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Reynolds Goochland Campus located at 1851 Dickinson Road, Goochland, VA 23063.

This is a FREE event in partnership with Reynolds Community College and Goochland County.  No appointment is necessary, no insurance needed.

Free COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic

First and Second doses of all three vaccines (Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson) will be offered as well as Pfizer-BioNTech booster doses for those who are eligible.  Please note that Johnson & Johnson is a one dose vaccine.

Pfizer-BioNTech booster doses will only be available for:

  • Those 65 years or older
  • Those 18 years or older with underlying medical conditions or working in high-risk settings
  • You must have received the second dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine at least 6 months beforehand
The vaccine clinic is open to adults (18+) and children ages 12 – 17.  Children will need a parent or guardian to accompany them.

Individuals who need to look up or obtain a copy of their vaccination record can do so through the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Vaccination Record Request Portal (https://vase.vdh.virginia.gov/recordrequest.html) or by calling (877) VAX-IN-VA (877-829-4682).
