Dunn Dubbed Director of Baseball Analytics for Diamond Jackets
Former Yellow Jacket right-hander Tyler Dunn (Salisbury, Md./James M. Bennett) has been named the Director of Baseball Analytics for Randolph-Macon.
"We are extremely fortunate to have Tyler join our program in this capacity," head coach Ray Hedrick said. "We understand the expectation to provide our students with the resources necessary to train and compete at the highest level, and we believe Tyler's knowledge base and familiarity with numbers and data analysis will only enhance the natural abilities of our athletes – allowing RMC Baseball to thrive nationally for the foreseeable future."
A 2021 graduate of R-MC, Dunn will work closely with the coaching staff to implement the department's research, development efforts, and statistical models by using information from Rapsodo and Blast Motion.
