BENTLEY EARNS SECOND STRAIGHT A-10 PLAYER OF THE WEEK AWARD
Senior outside hitter Qairo Bentley (Denver, Colo.) has captured her second straight Atlantic 10 Conference Player of the Week award, the league announced Monday.
Bentley led the Rams to back-to-back wins over Saint Louis this weekend while averaging 5.00 kills, 3.38 digs and 0.88 blocks per set. She hit .280 in 100 attempts. Bentley overpowered the Billikens with a career-high 26 kills Friday in a five-set thriller. She registered double-doubles in both matches.
For the year, Bentley is averaging a career-high 3.40 kills per set, which ranks fourth in the Atlantic 10. Her 3.96 points per set are third-best in the league.
Bentley and the Rams return to the floor on Tuesday, Oct. 25 when they host Davidson at 5 p.m. at the Siegel Center. That contest will air live on MASN and ESPN+.
