Mallory is ODAC Player of the Week for Third Time
Randolph-Macon senior forward Miles Mallory (Beltsville, Md./St. Vincent Pallotti) has been named ODAC Player of the Week for the second straight week and the third time this season.
Mallory averaged 17.0 points, 15.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 3.5 blocks in two ODAC wins for the Yellow Jackets.
This past Wednesday, Mallory registered 18 points, 12 rebounds, four blocks and three assists in a home victory over Bridgewater.
Mallory led R-MC with 16 points, 18 rebounds, three blocks, five assists and two steals in a road win at Roanoke. Late in the first half, Mallory broke the ODAC record for career blocks. He finished with three blocks and now has 239. Mallory now has nine double-doubles this season.
For the season, Mallory is averaging 15.8 points, 9.7 rebounds, 2.8 blocks and 2.1 assists. He leads the ODAC in rebounding and blocks. Mallory is shooting 55.6% from the floor, fourth in the conference.
Randolph-Macon travels to Averett on Wednesday, Jan. 25 for a 7 p.m. ODAC contest. The Yellow Jackets host Ferrum on Saturday, Jan. 28 at 4:30 p.m. for the annual Matt Davis Foundation Game.
