The Randolph-Macon women's basketball team hit the road for their second straight game as they faced ODAC foe Roanoke for the second time this season. The Maroons pulled away in the second half to win 64-41.

How it Happened:
- RMC began the game on a 6-0 run which started by a Devan Conrad (Parkville, Md./St. Paul's School for Girls) jumper. The Maroons were able to storm back and go on a 16-4 run to end the quarter.
- Freshman Jane Elkins (Annandale, Va./Bishop Ireton) opened the second frame with a layup and sophomore Marisa Ziegler (Forest Hill, Md./John Carroll) hit a three ball to give RMC the lead 19-18. RC went on a 10-2 run before the Yellow Jackets scored the final seven points of the half to take it to halftime tied 28-28.
- Roanoke went on a quick 5-0 run to start the second half, but RMC sparked a 9-2 run themselves to take a 37-35 lead at the media timeout. The Maroons opened up the lead for the remainder of the game following a 10-1 run over the final 4:45 of the third quarter.
- Just over four minutes into the final frame, RC took the largest lead of the day with a 60-44 lead to safely cruise to victory.
- RMC forced 19 turnovers and had 13 offensive rebounds, gaining extra possessions but couldn't cash in. The 13 offensive rebounds contributed to a 36-33 advantage on the glass for the Yellow Jackets.
- The Lemon and Black had two players in double figures. Junior Catherine Kagey (Roanoke, Va./Faith Christian) had 11 points with eight rebounds, three assists, and five steals. Jane Elkins provided 11 points, three rebounds, and three steals.
- Senior Haley Pasqualone (Purcellville, Va./Loudon Valley) added two threes off the bench as part of her eight points on the day.
- RMC had 10 assists today, marking the 13th consecutive game with double-digit assists as a team.
