RMC to Host Sectional Rounds of NCAA Tournament
Randolph-Macon College will be one of four schools to host the Sectional rounds of the 2023 NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Tournament.
The defending national champion Yellow Jackets join Christopher Newport, Mount Union and Swarthmore as host institutions.
Johns Hopkins (25-4) and Wisconsin-Whitewater (23-7) will play in Crenshaw Gym on Friday, March 10 at 4 p.m. RMC (29-1) will face Oswego State (27-2) at 7 p.m. The winners will meet on Saturday, March 11 at 7 p.m. with a trip to the Final Four on the line.
Under head coach Josh Merkel, Randolph-Macon is one of two programs to reach the Sweet Sixteen in each of the past four NCAA Tournaments. Christopher Newport is the other.
