There were 198 Black students enrolled in Powhatan County Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, 3.4% less than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that Powhatan County Public Schools District welcomed 4,222 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, Black students comprised 4.7% of the student body to be the fourth most represented ethnicity in the school.

Powhatan County Public Schools District roughly covers schools within Powhatan County and has a main office in Powhatan.

Among the five schools in Powhatan County Public Schools District, Powhatan High School recorded the highest enrollment of Black students in the 2023-24 school year.
