On Wednesday, April 23, former Mechanicsville High School standout Nolan Kruse’s current college team, the Shenandoah Hornets, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Mary Washington Eagles.

The game took place at V. Earl Dickinson Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Hornets’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 25 at 5 p.m. at Jim Barnett Park against Lynchburg Hornets.
