Virginia Union University issued the following announcement on Feb 12.
Virginia Union University's Ny Langley scored 18 points and grabbed nine rebounds, but Lincoln University of Pennsylvania defeated the Lady Panthers 89-63 on Saturday, February 12, in Lincoln University, Pa.
VUU's Taniah Johnson scored 18 points in just 20 minutes of play to tie for high-scoring honors.
"We did not master our defensive assignment tonight," said VUU Head Women's Basketball Coach Tierra Terry. "We allowed Lincoln to score 89 points and shoot extremely well beyond the arc. As we prepare for our next opponent we have to go back to playing lockdown defense and team basketball."
