STABLE AND BOBICHON NAMED TO ITA RANKINGS
Graduate student Rayane Stable and junior Matisse Bobichon made the Intercollegiate Tennis Association fall season rankings which features the top 125 singles players and the top 60 doubles teams, the ITA announced today.
Bobichon has been ranked no. 40 in singles after posting a 9-3 record this fall after previously being unranked. The Lyon, France native qualified for the singles bracket of the ITA National Fall Championships in San Diego, Ca. earlier this month.
Stable and Bobichon made a strong pair this fall as the two have been ranked no. 29 on the list after previously being unranked. The two had a strong showing at the ITA regionals, winning the doubles bracket in Charlottesville, Va. The victory qualified the team for the ITA National Fall Championships where they won their first match against a pair from Arkansas in straight sets.
The Rams begin it's search for a sixth straight Atlantic 10 championship when the season begins against Temple on Jan. 20 at 9 a.m. at the Thalimer Tennis Center.
