There were 1,311 Hispanic students enrolled in Hanover County Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, 4.7% more than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that Hanover County Public Schools District welcomed 16,818 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, Hispanic students comprised 7.8% of the student body to be the third most represented ethnicity in the school.

Hanover County Public Schools District roughly covers schools within Hanover County and has a main office in Ashland.

Among the 23 schools in Hanover County Public Schools District, Patrick Henry High School recorded the highest enrollment of Hispanic students in the 2023-24 school year.

According to Public School Review, Virginia public schools have an average student-to-teacher ratio of 14:1, slightly better than the national average of 15:1. Minority students, primarily Hispanic and Black, make up 54% of the enrollment, while white students constitute 46%.
