ONLINE COURSE: POLITY & ADMINISTRATION (PATHWAYS ONLINE COURSE)
SEPTEMBER 9 @ 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
This is an online course that is open to all. This 6-week course includes weekly online class meetings, on Thursday evenings, 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. EST. In addition to the live class meetings, this course includes both reading and written assignments.
Online Course Title: Polity & Administration, Pathways Online Course
Course Description: This course will engage the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) Book of Order, its underpinnings, and its implications for mission and ministry. As part of the course, we will review administrative tasks which grow out of the Book of Order (i.e., Session meetings, committee meetings, stewardship season, personnel matters and policies, financial matters, presbytery meetings, annual statistical reports).
Online Course Format: Weekly class meetings via Zoom Technology, along with assignments posted on Blackboard, the seminary’s learning management system (login credentials provided)

Pathways to Learning and Leadership is an online program of nine courses offered over a two-year period to provide educational preparation toward leading a congregation as a Commissioned Ruling Elder (CRE). Courses are open to all, one does not need to be pursuing to become a CRE in order to participate. Courses aim to enhance knowledge and discipleship, and each course is five weeks long.
