Virginia Union University Welcomes Altovise Hester-Canady as Alumni Affairs Manager
Virginia Union University is announcing new leaders in its academic and administrative teams.

Mrs. Altovise Hester-Canady serves as Alumni Affairs Manager at VUU. As Alumni Affairs Manager, Canady plans to build a professional rapport with alumni and furnish the support needed to enhance alumni relations with the VUUNAA and the university.
She has held positions with the Richmond Behavioral Health Authority, assisting pregnant and parenting women with finding affordable housing in the Greater Richmond area. She is a Certified Housing Counselor and Housing Quality Standards Inspector.
Canady is a 2005 graduate of VUU with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. She also earned a Master’s in Human Services from Liberty University in 2013. Most recently, Canady graduated from Strayer University with a Master’s in Public Administration.
